Producer and Mixing Engineer

Zhitao is a producer and mixing engineer from Beijing who moved to the United States at age nine. He found his passion for music as an EDM producer and DJ, then studied at Berklee College of Music under Greg Ogan and Jonathan Perkins. Creatively, he applies a holistic creative vision across songwriting, arrangement, and vocal production, shaping the identity of a record from the first demo through the final mix.

As the in-house mixing engineer at Songplex Entertainment, he serves as the final quality checkpoint on projects, unifying sonics, ensuring cohesion across releases, and translating an artist’s intent into a finished record that translates across formats and platforms. After defining early projects and direction for emerging talent, he launched Songplex Entertainment to deliver end-to-end support in one place, combining production, mixing, creative identity, and release planning. He is relocating to Los Angeles to collaborate more closely with writers, artists, and labels and to continue growing Songplex’s presence in the music industry.
